Croc, it’s a crocodile skull with a knife plunged through it. What's not to love? This piece is epic and plays with some divine themes. Did you know those crowns of light in art have a name? They are called "nimbus" or "glory". The Latin word "nimbus" means "cloud", which is where the halo gets its name from, the halo is often depicted as a radiant light which is similar to the way a cloud might be illuminated by the sun.
