The little robot is the 1986 Robeson Robot, which originally served as a mere desk fan for Sarah, and was eventually transformed into the main character of this digital piece when she found it to be a source of inspiration. Next to the little bot, there appears to be a stack of papers that show what could be either prototypes, past sketches, or old ideas. Finally, the part that may catch the eye the most! The striking neon sign reads "robot love" in Japanese Kanji characters. It sign glows with a vivid combination of purple and pink hues, creating a sense of romantic energy and vibrancy that is impossible to ignore. The neon lighting in the painting evokes a futuristic and cyberpunk atmosphere, while the depiction of a robot and the words 'robot love' prompt the viewer to contemplate their meaning - do robots have the ability to love, or is it humans who love them? Sarah has grown a sort of love of this little robot during long hours working at her desk all year round, even more so during the hot central valley heat. Originally this is a digital piece, created using Procreate on an Ipad. This piece is sold in the form of Giclee Paper print which is beautiful and has a glossy finish. This print measures 12”x 18”.
